Thanks, it was the first time I'd ever seen the band and worse I was upstairs watching the stage on a 9" black&white monitor. I sure wish that they had come back again but it wasn't to be. I did the mix on my homebrew 16 in board out thru a peak limiter paralleled to the phone lines to WPLR and my Teac Cassette deck. Everything I have posted from Toads Place is that configuration (except Steppenwolf which was a radio recording) This Fountainhead tape is currently living on a shelf behind me :) They were all WPLR efforts, I was paid by CBS. I had two 15k balanced equalized phone lines to the WPLR Chapel St. Studio, and another 2 similar lines to the Yale FM station where I sent the Jazz oriented shows (Spyro Gyra etc). We did 3 George Thorogood shows live, also Homesick John O'Leary Band, The Simms Brothers, The Helium Brothers and NRBQ (twice)

@Keving3 I did and like I said they sound fantastic. Honestly some of the best sounding live recordings from this particular tour. I know there are others like me who would love to hear the full show. I get where you are coming from. It would just be a bummer if that never gets heard by the fans who actually want to hear it. Sadly none of us are getting any younger and there just isn't enough live early 80's Girlschool out there for the world to enjoy.

Scott McCarl, wrote some great songs on the band’s last album Starting Over (including this one) and also put out some awesome solo material as well (check out “In Love Without a Girl” and “I Think About You” for a taste!)

You're welcome Vito, great to hear from you. Both Charles and I have lost our original copies, fortunately I had made a good cassette copy in the 'late '80s. The original was a mono acetate, which explains the fidelity.

Sometimes, honestly, mono is preferable and just better…
